UT GIS Day is back in 2024! 

Join us Wednesday, November 20, in the Perry-Castañeda Library Scholars Lab for an afternoon of special events celebrating all-things-Geospatial Information Sciences (GIS) at The University of Texas at Austin. 

To coincide with UT's Year of AI, this year's theme is exploring geospatial artificial intelligence. We will have a keynote presentation from Dr. Gengchen Mai and Dr. Yuhao Kang, a student poster competition, a GIS Career Panel, and more!

1:30 pm - UT Libraries MGCE Fellowship Award
2:00 pm - Geospatial AI Keynote by Dr. Gengchen Mai and Dr. Yuhao Kang
3:00 pm - GIS Career Panel
4:00 pm - Student Poster Competition and PIZZA! 🍕

While we encourage in person attendance, the events occurring from 12:30-3:00 pm will also be broadcast on Zoom. Those who wish to attend virtually can register here.
