UT Libraries offers a variety of options for scanning across our locations. We also offer our Get A Scan service where you can request a scan of a book chapter or article.

Architecture and Planning Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located next to the service desk. This location is temporarily closed. |
Benson Latin American Collection | 1 overhead book scanner is located in the Reading room. |
McKinney Engineering Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located in the Print/Scan Room. |
Fine Arts Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located in the lobby in the Print & Scan area. |
Walter Geology Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located next to the service desk. |
Life Science Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located in the lobby. |
Kuehne Physics Mathematics Astronomy Library | 1 overhead book scanner is located at the bottom of the stairs. |

Perry Castaneda Library | A microfilm scanner is available in the PCL Media Lab. |
Benson Latin American Collection | Two microfilm scanners are available for use. The first is on the first floor in the Ann Hartness Reading Room (Room 1.106). The second is located on the third floor in the Microfilm Reader Room. Please note: the microfilm reader on the third floor is not connected to the internet and does not support flash drives or external hard drives. It is intended for reading only, and the only way to capture scans is by taking photos of the screen using a personal device. |
