Philip Douglas Creer (1903-1993), educated in Pennsylvania, was head of the Department of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design for twenty-three years before serving as dean of the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin from 1956 to 1967. The collection contains Creer’s personal, professional, and faculty papers. Record types include architectural drawings, photographs, correspondence, and project records.

Architect and engineer Preston Geren (1891-1969) established his architecture firm in 1934 and worked in Fort Worth and throughout Texas on a variety of building types - schools, universities and colleges, office buildings, public housing projects, and defense facilities. Born in Sherman, Texas, he received a degree in architectural engineering from A&M College of Texas (1912), taught at Oklahoma A&M (1921-1923), and was employed as chief engineer at the Fort Worth firm of Sanguinet, Staats and Hedrick from 1923 to 1934.

Photographs and clippings representing architectural works in the Chicago area designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and William E. Drummond for Avery and Queene Ferry Coonley comprise this collection. Works represented in the collection are: Avery Coonley House (1906-09), Avery Coonley Gardener's Cottage (1911) and Coonley Playhouse (1912) by Frank Lloyd Wright; Thorncroft (1911), and the Brookfield Kindergarten (1911), by William E. Ralph Cameron (1892-1970) practiced both commercial and residential architecture in San Antonio and was instrumental in establishing the Texas Society of Architects. Personal papers, day books, office files, job files, specifications, photographs, and drawings chronicle the architectural work of Ralph Cameron from 1914-1970.

Raoul Josset (1899-1957) was a French sculptor who immigrated to the United States in the late 1920s, lived in northern Texas and worked with Dallas architect Donald Nelson. The collection includes correspondence, personal papers, office files, job files, professional association material, newspaper clippings, printed material and photographs that document Josset's career as a sculptor from 1927-1967.

Raymond Everett (1885-1948) taught freehand drawing, painting, clay modeling and architectural history in the Department of Architecture of the University of Texas at Austin from 1915 to 1948. He also produced artwork on which he experimented with a variety of media. The collection consists of watercolor drawings documenting Everett's student work at Harvard University and slides of his book plates.

Richard Proctor Swallow is an architect, artist, and Professor Emeritus at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. He was project head and edited four publications on the environmental plan and prototype research facilities for the Buescher Science Park Project, in Smithville and Camp Swift, Texas. The collection documents his career as an architect and educator. Record types include faculty papers, student works, and architectural drawings.

Robert G. Mather was an architect and educator who began his teaching career at The University of Texas, School of Architecture (UTSOA) in 1958. The Robert G. Mather papers contain manuscript material from his teaching career as a faculty member at UTSOA from 1958 to 1984, as well as a small selection of his professional papers. Record types include correspondence, course materials, writings, and presentation materials.

Robert M. "Bob" Williamson was a wholesale lumber dealer in Dallas, Texas who produced and sold house plan books containing house plans with an accompanying photograph, set of blueprints for each house, and a list of general specifications for building the houses. The collection consists copies of house plan books dating from 1919 to 1923, and tear sheets of advertisements for the plan books series.
